Who doesn't LOVE pizza?
I mean the sauce, the cheese, the crust....oh yeah, the crust, the carbs....UGH maybe I shouldn't eat it!
Does this go through your mind when you think of pizza? Whether you are gluten-free, grain-free or just watching your carb intake here are 2 different crusts that are delicious and can certainly satisfy your pizza craving!
Quinoa Pizza Crust
3 Cups cooked quinoa
2 Large eggs
1/4 t minced onion
1/8 t sea salt
Preheat the oven to 375.
Mixed together in the blender. Lined a cookie sheet with parchment paper and sprayed with cooking spray. Pressed the quinoa mixture onto the parchment paper in a thin later. Cooked for 25 minutes or until brown and crispy. Topped with my favorite sauce, toppings and cheese. Put back into the oven until the cheese had melted.
Turkey Pizza Crust
1 lb organic ground turkey
1 Large egg
2 t Italian Seasoning
1/8 t sea salt
Preheated the oven to 375.
Mixed together all the ingredients. Lined a cookie sheet with tin foil and coated with cooking spray. Spread the turkey mixture onto the tin foil. Cooked for 20 minutes or until browned. Topped with my favorite sauce, toppings and cheese. Put back into the oven until the cheese had melted.
